After thirty years serving as Sir John Houndsworth's butler, Niles retired and set out to tour America. While waiting at the airport, he struck up a conversation with a guy sitting beside him. It was Scruffy, and after a pleasant conversation, Scruffy invited him to put Shade Well.on his list of places he wanted to visit.
