I grew up in a small village in West Virginia named French Creek. My Dad and Mom owned Smith’s General Store, which sold everything from horseshoes to candy bars. In the cold winter days customers would seek the warmth of the pot belly stove while either gossiping or telling tales. Growing up in such an environment helped form my sense of humor and the comfort of being around such a cast of characters helped develop my humor and story telling skills.

This is not my first book.  When my granddaughter, Gabi was a little girl, she would pester me to tell her a story.  So, I wrote “Papa, Tell Me A Story” summarizing my youth growing up in French Creek.  In my career, I did a lot of traveling, so I highlighted my experiences of all the places around the globe I had visited and had it published on Story Worth.

How I Met Scruffy & Pals is unique, in that it brings to life a group of golfing buddies I drew; each with unique personalities and looks. The book is narrated by Scruffy’s dog Bogey, as he tells how he met and got to know the pals, and his unexpected life at Shade Well Country Club.

I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.

How I Met Scruffy & Pals it available on Amazon please buy, read, and write a review.
